All right we all like movies so lets have another thread about...... movies. This is not limited to what they do or how they look just the top 5 characters that made you go holly crap thats cool. T.V counts too. This can be scene specific like my #1 pick.
1. Palpatine (opera scene) HOLY CRAP I was ready to follow his every command. Only scene in a movie to make me feel emotions on what was happening in the story. 2.Darkness (satan) in Legend. come on how cool was this character. Huge and demonic and with Tim Curry doing the acting it gave him that edge of just evil.
3.Anakin Skywalker/ Vader. Okay im not being cheap, I think that Anakin in Ep3 is by far more dark than when in the suit.
4. The Blob 90s remake. Bad movie I know but there is one scene where a 8-10 year old kid follows his dog to where the blob is. Few minutes later hero arrives and the Kid leaps towards him while in the Blob. Half digested with torn flesh and puss, screaming. Scared the s**t out of me because Ive never seen a kid killed in that manner before.
5. Scorpius from Farscape. Choose for his never ending plans and foresight into the utter F-ing up of John Crihton's life. No one should endure that much suttle tweaking, from one person, over the cource of 4 years.

1. Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious From the moment I witnessed his glory in the end scene of Return of the Jedi, I moved from being a Star Wars super fan, to being a STAR WARS FREAK, OMG I LOVE STAR WARS. There is something about his eyes, that I got stuck staring at as a kid. I honestly can't describe why I love Emperor Palpatine. The people who know me could probablly fill you in though...lol
2. Joker If I wasn't a Star Wars Freak, I would be a much larger Batman Freak then what I already am. There is something about Joker, you just can't help like the dirty deeds he does. No matter what he's doing, you can't look away. He's psychotic, even for psychos.
3. Darth Maul Not only does he serve my favorite Villian, but he looks like a total bad ass. You can see in his eyes the discipline of a mighty Sith Lord. Fueled by his Anger, refined by his Hatred, he is the ultimate killing machine. Not only is his battle with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan my favorite Star Wars Battle, but my favorite fight scene in any movie. It's so incredibly fercious!
4. Goldfinger They say a hero is only as interesting as the villians he fights. Well that is true for James Bond. After all the Bond Movies people can still quote, without even thinking this scene. "Bond is strapped to a table, his legs spread apart and a laser beam rising between them. Bond says, 'Do you expect me to talk?' to which Goldfinger replies, "Haha, No Mr. Bond I expect you to die!'" Goldfinger could hold his own, and that made the adventure much more interesting.
5. Tie Sta' Buff Marshmallow Man (Ghostbusters)/ T-800 (Terminator and T-2) Ok first Sta' Buff, he's freakin awesome. Ghostbusters came out when I was living in Downtown Boston. I was only 5-7ish and I thought what I was seeing was actually happening in Boston. So when the movie was over, I was ready to jump into the large piles of Marshmallow...yummy... (remeber he blows up at the end) T-800, so f-ing awesome. He never stops, he never sleeps, he has only one objective to kill Sarah/John Conner (t-1000). I saw this movie when I was kid also, hehe, without my parents knowing. First off Terminator 2 is such an awesome sci-fi movie. I really developed my love for science fiction at this point. The opening scene from T-2 was my first glipse into the Terminator movies, and I can't wait for T-4. James Cameron is coming back to do it. He is the original creator and director for t1 and t2.

I definitely agree that Scorpius should be in the top 5, no doubt there. I understand the rest of your choices, but I've Scorpius is the only one I strongly agreed with. Scorpius might also be in the top 5 heroes as well, IMO, he is pretty inspiring. His handicaps he's overcome, his brutal childhood, and how he has come out of everything so much stronger. The Joker is also definitely deserving of a spot. Ra's Al'Ghul is up there too, total badass. After reading Hush I gained a new respect for the Riddler as well, though he is too tainted by previous versions for me to put him in the top 5. Even though he is relatively new as a comic villain, Darkseid is also totally awesome. Not gonna say much, but if you've seen the eps or read the comics where he ticks Superman off, you'll begin to understand. I know this guy is not from a movie or TV show, but Jon Irenicus out of Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn. Holy shit. Awesome. I got more, but I gotta do what I came here to do, before I run outta time to do it
